Information may be distributed through “Boy’s Life” Magazine from the National Office of BSA, the “Full Circle” Newspaper from the Circle Ten Council, and postcards and e-mails from the Southern Sky District.
To save time, trees, and postage…
ALL PATROL AND TROOP COMMUNICATION WILL BE VIA E-MAIL.
Accordingly, it is very important the Troop Secretary always has your current e-mail address (feel free to provide as many as you feel will get the information to “those who need to know” quickly)! It is equally important you CHECK your e-mail and read and RESPOND to correspondence as necessary. This courtesy will make your Troop Leaders’ lives much easier!
If you ever experience trouble opening a document sent, please contact the Troop Secretary to get a printed copy.
Please don’t have your Boy Scout disappointed because program information isn’t getting through. Deadlines are firm and because they often involve short timelines, imposed by the District or Council, we will not be able to make exceptions. It just breaks all hearts involved.
Reference information may also be posted to the Troop website.
